WALT TYLER RETIRES

After 16 years serving on the Pioneer Fire Protection District Board of Directors, Walt Tyler officially retired at the board meeting held on Tuesday, December 12th.  Maxine Tyler and Lynn Shetley did the impossible and arranged a (very) surprise reception for him after the meeting where he was presented with several wonderful and memorial gifts of appreciation.  Friends from his Fire Protection District past as well as newcomers to Grizzly Flats gathered to congratulate and thank Walt for his many years of service both to the district and to the community of Grizzly Flats.
