Very Important Folks:

Jodi Lauther took care of ALL food-related tasks and created a beautiful
spread for Grizzly Flats community members to enjoy. She also made a
million flyers and instruction packages and orchestrated the marketing for
Founder's Day.

Terrey Robinson was responsible for putting together all of the BEAUTIFUL
gift baskets that were offered for silent auction prizes. She
orchestrated the raffles and secured donations for months prior to the
event. If you saw it at Founder's Day, it's likely it was there
because Jodi or Terrey went out and got it.

Andrea Stevenson, (left) "The Funmeister," set up all of the kids' games
and prepped for the cake walk (which was ultimately rained out, sadly)

Marcia Scott worked hard to create a successful chili cook off, sold
tickets and also designed the layout of the event. People, we had
CAD drawings, accurate to scale, one for rain and one for shine, of the
entire school grounds. Talk about a pro!

The Grizzly Pines School Staff: L to R
Beverly Bodtker, Robin Kelley & Tanis Haboush. We could not have
dreamed of better support from mobilizing the kids into action on Penny
Wars and basket making to opening up the entire school for Founder's Day
use. They were just great.

The Red Hat Ladies! We wondered how we would all this food served
with just the five of us and a couple of volunteers, when in walked this
glorious sea of red and purple. Problem solved! The Red Hat
ladies were tireless in their support of the event. Thanks to all of
those wonderful ladies!

We can't say thank you enough to the wonderful bands who provided us with
live music throughout the event, giving freely of their time so that we
could listen to fantastic sounds through the day. (They worked for
chili). Here is Frank Shortt with his grandson, Tim. They
expertly and melodically made their way through classic country and
bluegrass, bringing a tear to the eye of this old transplanted Kentucky
girl

This is Mike, Lee, Ted and Sandy (Mike affectionately dubbed them "Three
Old Farts and Sandy"). Sandy made light of her talents, but that
girl whipped 'em right out there! We had no clue. This is like
suddenly finding out someone you knew forever is a Nobel Peace Prize
winner.

Here you see Old Boys in the Woods. Beverly Bodtker told us that her
son was in a band that might be interested in performing. We told
her "Bring 'em on" and honey, she forever more "brought'em on."
These boys were just aces and nobody in that room could make their feet
behave.

1070 played last, providing the perfect cap on a wonderful day of music
and fun. We didn't tell 1070, but everyone else was just their
opening act. (wink)

The Pioneer Fire Department who came out to share the trucks with the
kiddies.
