The children arrived by covered wagon, traveling from Old Sac to Sutter's Fort
About half of these folks are ours and about half are from another school with whom they shared the day
Several different learning stations where established where children could experience period living.
Children learned to weave baskets
Cooking in an authentic kitchen
Walt Tyler taught fire tending
David Robinson taught wood working
How about THAT oven?! As night fell, the kids
enjoyed square dancing, storytelling and sleeping under the stars.
